GOING HOME is a collection of photographs made between January 2020 and June 2021 - a period in Ben's life marked by movement and displacement. Boundaries were blurred between citizen and tourist, insider and outsider. Passing moments of solitude and connection captured his attention. Each image poses questions. What is home? Who are these characters? Do they belong?

On the walls of the exhibition space, frames from The Netherlands, Boston, and State College, places of semi-permanent residence, surround structures invoking postcard carousels display images from travel. The disparities in comfort and clarity when viewing the scenes from transient homes versus destinations afar echo the experiences where the photographs were taken.

Participate in this exhibit by producing your own narratives for the moments captured. How do the stories you create relate to your own definition of home?
